Dr Abraham Silvers is a nationally recognized expert with over 30 years experience in the application of statistical approaches to clinical trials, medical studies and environmental risk assessment. He was elected a Fellow of the American Statistical Association (ASA) in 1988 for his contributions to clinical trial and health risk assessment methodology, and in 1993, ASA awarded him a Distinguished Medal for his work in environmental statistics.
As a consultant for a number of national and international pharmaceutical and biotech companies, he addressed their need to meet FDA technical requirements for treatments in cancer, heart disease and arthritis and for development of diagnostic devices.
Dr. Silvers understands the scientific and statistical issues and methods that underlie environmental regulatory decisions and has the knowledge to apply these methods to reach practical solutions that has been well received by industry and regulators alike.
Among others, Dr. Silvers has provided consulting service to the National Cancer Institute, other National Institutes of Health (NIH) ,The World Health Organization, and the Environmental Protection Agency.
